Volleyball drops two OVC matches
The UTM volleyball team dropped an OVC match to Tennessee State 3-1 (23-25, 20-25, 26-22, 25-14) Friday night at Kean Arena.
Neither team could take more than a one-point advantage to open the match until Britany Wilburn and Taylor Noland blocked a Tennessee State attack, giving the Skyhawks an 11-9 lead.…

Rodeo opens 2008 campaign with two solid performances
The UTM rodeo squads recently concluded their first two rodeos of the 2008 season, traveling to Marshall, Miss. and Magnolia, Ark.
The Marshall rodeo, which was hosted by Missouri Valley College, saw the Skyhawks finish second on the men's side with 719 points, and a third place finish for the women, who amassed 290 overall points.…

Equestrian team prepares for another successful season
The women's equestrian team began their 2008-2009 season with their annual Blue vs. Orange scrimmage, held at the Ned R. McWherter Agricultural Pavilion on Saturday.
"We are using this scrimmage opportunity to give our freshmen the chance to get comfortable with our format prior to the start of our regular season," said UTM head coach Meghan Cunningham, who will enter her third year in charge in the equestrian program.…
